Brierley's Story
My mum and I visited the farm and I can easily say it's well worth the visit! Both of us were slightly nervous of the cows at the beginning of the session - something we were able to make them aware of before we arrived. We were given time to adjust to such a new experience and by the end of the session we were hugging cows and interacting with them freely.
It's a beautiful sanctuary, the cows are clearly well loved and looked after - Grahame is very knowledgeable about his animals and answered every question we had. We got to meet all of the cows and saw each of their little personalities and quirks shine through.
My mum and I will definitely be back to the sanctuary upon our next visit to Wales. I highly recommend Cow Companions to anyone with even a remote interest in cows. I think that the work Grahame does here is admirable and we look forward to hearing about how the cows are getting on through the adoption updates.
